Welcome!
2010 a year of new possibilities.  What do you anticipate or hope for this year?  For me, I anticipate meeting new people and hopefully help them achieve their educational and life goals.
I partnered with Genesys Works this summer, teaching area High School students general IT skills.  This non-profit does a great job helping underserved students achieve success through education and encouragement to break through.
I teach at Inver Hills Community College  in the Computer and Networking Technology Associate of Applied Science program.  The courses I'm teaching are Administering Windows Operating Systems, Internship, Network Security Design and Managing a Windows Server Environment.
I am also on Sabbatical this year. While on sabbatical, I am working for the Enterprise Security Office at the State of Minnesota.  The project involves deploying an Enterprise Vulnerability Management System to 30 small state agencies.
This summer I had the opportunity to attend the 13th Colloquium for Information Systems Security Education held in Seattle.  I was able to meet many colleagues who teach at various institutions around the world in the area of Information Assurance.  I am looking forward to developing these connections further.  I also attended the Cisco Networking Academy conference in Orlando.  Once again I met many new colleagues and learned a lot of new stuff to apply in my classroom.
