2012 a year of great opportunities. Opportunities to meet new people, new students, work with new technology and create new memories.
I partnered with
Genesys Works this summer, teaching area High School students general IT skills. This non-profit does a great job helping underserved students achieve success through education and encouragement to break through.
I teach at
Inver Hills Community College in the Networking Technology and Security Associate of Applied Science degree program which is in the Information Technology & Careers Department. The courses I'm teaching include Windows 7 Configuration, PC Hardware and Software, Networking Essentials, Network Security Design and Windows Server 2008 Active Directory and Infrastructure.
Inver Hills Community College received National recognition this summer by receiving the designation of
Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance by the National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security. IHCC is the first and only two year College to be so designated in the State of Minnesota!
